Kill every target without missing a single shot. That is the whole achievement, and the spare ammunition is a trap — a miss disqualifies you even when you still have bullets left over.
The rule that actually matters
You are given more bullets than targets. That surplus reads as a safety margin and it is not one: the achievement checks your accuracy, not whether you finished with ammunition in hand.
So:
- Line up each shot properly. There is no timer pressure in this scene.
- If you miss, reload the scene rather than finishing the hunt. Playing on just burns the attempt.
- Take the animals one at a time. Rushing the last one or two is where most runs die.
On the numbers — sources disagree
The official in-game clue reads:
"There are only 5 targets. 10 bullets are enough."
A separate community guide reports six animals and nine bullets instead.
We cannot reconcile those against each other, and we are not going to pick one and present it as fact. The in-game clue is the stronger source, but the practical answer does not depend on which is right: count the targets your own hunt screen shows you, and do not miss. The achievement condition is the same either way.
If you finish a run and can confirm the counts, send them over — it goes on this page with credit.
Where this sits
Day 2 Afternoon, after the cleaning block. It follows Going Hunting, which is a story achievement and unlocks on its own.
The rest of the day is on the Day 2 walkthrough. The other two Day 2 sticking points are the bathing tiles and the mouse in the cellar wall.
Still to be confirmed
We could not verify the following against more than one source, so we have left it out rather than guess. This page is updated as confirmations come in.
- The exact target and bullet counts. The in-game clue says 5 targets and 10 bullets; a community guide reports 6 animals and 9 bullets. Trust what your own hunt screen shows.
