One page per puzzle, so you can get unstuck without reading the rest of the day. If you only need a number, the all codes page has every fixed lock in the game on one screen.
Day 1 — Morning
- Tin cup stacking — the courtyard puzzle that pays the driver.
- Porridge and the insect — the ingredient list and the cook order.
- The berry puzzle — unlocking the berries, and blocking every hole before you swing.
- The morning exercise puzzle — copying the figurine, and how to deliberately fail it for the achievement.
Day 1 — Afternoon
- Chandelier candles — where the three candles are and the order to light them.
- The garden: flowers, cockroaches, stone tiles — the whole outdoor block in sequence.
- The luggage code — why no guide can give you this number.
Day 1 — Evening
- Tea service — the fill order and the cup that is meant to break.
- Wine cabinet code — 1753 — and the clue that gives it away.
- The parlor block — nine-button box, the cigar fire, the painting sequence, the flower binary switches and the lullaby order.
Day 1 — Night
- Attic chest stars — 4 2 3 — needed twice, once now and once after the credits.
Day 2
- Aldous's coffee — roast and grind; roasting alone is only half.
- A Perfect Hunt — why the spare bullets are not a margin.
- The bathing tiles — the four to pick, and the separate window puzzle.
- Pest control — the three-step mouse most players stop halfway through.
Day 3
- Cabinet code — 6294 — the lock that holds the telescope.
- The alchemy box sequence — nine clicks, left and right.
When a puzzle will not accept a correct answer
Three things account for nearly every "I entered it right and nothing happened":
You are one item short. Most puzzles silently refuse input until you are holding the thing they want. Sweep the room before you re-enter the answer.
The order is wrong, not the actions. Waking Aldous, serving tea and singing the lullaby all reject the right set of actions in the wrong sequence.
The lock is randomised. Exactly one is: the luggage case. Everything else is fixed for every player.
