Heavy spoilers. This page discusses late-game and post-credits content. Finish Day 3 first.

This is the last achievement in Servant of the Lake and it does not exist until the credits have rolled. It sends you back through all three days re-entering specific answers, and finishes at a window with a telescope.

Finish Day 3 before reading this page.

Before you start

You need five values, all of which you passed during normal play:

WhereValue
Day 1, clock in Aldous's bedroom4:05 (not 7:00 — that was the first pass)
Day 2, bathing tile selectionAleksandra, bath, suitcase, severed hand
Day 3, alchemy boxesright, right, right, left, right, left, right, right, left
Day 1, attic chest stars4 2 3
Day 3, locked cabinet6294 → telescope

If you did not open the Day 3 cabinet on your first run, do that first — the route ends with its contents.

The eight steps

1. Continue and read the note. After the credits, choose Continue on the title screen. There is a note waiting. Read it — this is what arms the sequence.

2. Day 1 — set the clock to 4:05. Back in Aldous's bedroom. On the first pass this clock wanted 7:00; the secret route wants 4:05. This is the single most common place people go wrong, because muscle memory says seven.

3. Day 2 — select the four bathing tiles. Aleksandra, the bath, the suitcase, the severed hand. Same four as during normal play.

4. Day 3 — enter the alchemy box sequence. right, right, right, left, right, left, right, right, left. Nine clicks, no feedback until the last one.

5. Day 1 attic — set the chest stars to 4, 2, 3. Left to right. See the attic chest page.

6. Day 3 cellar — configure the chest. The community guides show this one only as a screenshot of the in-game state, with no pattern written out. We are not going to invent it. The clue art is readable in the room itself.

7. Arrange the three bottles. Same situation — screenshot only. If you work it out, a correction sent our way gets published the same day.

8. Cabinet 6294 → telescope → the upper window. Open the Day 3 cabinet with 6294, take the telescope, then go to the window near the dining hall and look at the upper window of the estate.

That is the achievement.

Why the route is built this way

Every step is a lock you have already opened once, re-opened with either the same answer or a deliberately altered one. The clock is the tell: 7:00 got Aldous out of bed, 4:05 gets you something else. The game is asking whether you were paying attention the first time, not whether you can solve anything new.

Which is also why the two undocumented steps matter less than they look — by step six you are following a pattern rather than puzzling, and the in-room clue art carries you.

If it does not fire

You skipped the note. Step one is not flavour; the sequence is not armed without it.

You used 7:00 on the clock. Check step two.

You never opened the Day 3 cabinet. The telescope is not obtainable any other way. See the cabinet code page.

Still to be confirmed

We could not verify the following against more than one source, so we have left it out rather than guess. This page is updated as confirmations come in.

  • Step 6 — the cellar chest configuration is published only as a screenshot.
  • Step 7 — the three-bottle arrangement, same problem.
