Lite is the free mobile slice of Servant of the Lake. It follows the same opening as the PC demo — courtyard, hallway, Aldous's bedroom — so the solutions are the same ones on the demo walkthrough. What changes is the input, and touch is where most of the Lite-specific frustration comes from.
The route, in short
- Courtyard. Collect the two tin cups (coachman, left window ledge) and stack them by the number of lines etched on each, left to right. Pay the driver with the coins.
- Hallway. Gather wood, oats, milk, small pot and matches. Cook the porridge in the order on the recipe note. Give the cat milk before the dead mouse for the hidden achievement.
- Bedroom. Solve the shape box for the razor, then run the wake-up sequence in this exact order: curtains → clock to 7:00 → shave → clean the ear (move the trousers to find the cloth) → feed the earlobe to the raven → key → berries → bowl, porridge, spoon, berries.
- The bowl. Block every escape hole with berries, then kill the insect.
- Exercises. Copy the figurine on the wardrobe.
What touch changes
The exercise puzzle is harder on a phone. The poses are copied by dragging, and small drags register as taps. Slow the movement down and finish each drag well past the target before releasing. This is the single most common Lite complaint, and it is an input problem, not a puzzle problem.
The cup stack needs a zoom. The etched lines that tell you the stacking order are thin. Pinch-zoom on each cup before deciding the order rather than guessing from the shelf view.
The insect in the bowl moves faster than your finger. Plug the holes methodically. There is no timer, so there is no reason to rush the taps.
Lite versus the paid game
Lite is the opening only. The chandelier, the garden, the reunion, and Days 2 and 3 are in the full release. If you finish Lite and buy the game on the same platform, you can start reading at Day 1 Afternoon.
For which platforms the paid build is on, and what it costs, see our sister site servantofthelake.net — this site stays on solutions.
Still to be confirmed
We could not verify the following against more than one source, so we have left it out rather than guess. This page is updated as confirmations come in.
- Whether Lite ends at exactly the same point as the PC demo, or trims the final bedroom beat.
